My Heart is a Drummer is an original and innovative book. Well worth a read if you're looking for something different.
Donald is a totally unique character. His affliction is certainly a complicated one. I found myself rooting for him to be ok. I thought it was a lovely story.
Adam Sydney's book travels into the uncomfortable, the unsure, the unclear. For me, these are difficult, challenging places, and places that one must explore to be fully human.
By far one of the most daring structure I've ever read in a literary work of fiction. Sydney captures the aches and pains that love gives and takes, he shows us how it leaves us. The characters are real, awkward and damaged; the story is simple yet impossible to let go.
He's one to watch, that Adam Sydney.
I have become of fan of Adam Sydney. His style is clear and flows. The "Drummer" is another great example. Really got caught up with this character. Excellent chaater development that holds you throughout the story. Unique perspective and a truly original story when there is so much imitation out there. Well worth reading -- look forward to more novels from this upcoming author.
